I've posted in one of the pic threads but here's my 2.0 as it sits now.

Back from ATEi, added top serrations and cleaned up the FCG surfaces. Refinished in Melonite. Wanted to go with the "assault gray" but it's no longer offered.
Trijicon HD sights.
APEX trigger shoe
Some light triggerguard undercuts for comfort.

I don't think I'm going to bother even messing with the stippling. I like the way it is from the factory. I MIGHT add some front index points and that's it.

I also like the stippling the way that is, very nice grip. I can't shoot the ones with the safety though, my support hand keeps engaging it. Looks good.

I'm thinking I'm going to cut the right side safety off

I tried to like the safety version, but didn't want to change my grip up. The M2.0 is a better upgrade than I originally thought, the new grip is one of the best I've felt on a factory gun. Don't let that Peter guy talk you into letting him stipple it.

Just find the part number for this plastic plug and remove the safety and replace.

Thats all.

I think his wife made him get the safety version because of the kids.

I'll steer clear of that rabbit hole.

That'd be correct.

This was an easy concession.

So she's letting him have ammunition now?

She came from a gun-less home. Safeties make her feel better with the toddler and baby.

To me that wasn't an unreasonable request. YMMV

I support completely, and applaud you for it.

My GF was terrified of firearms when I started her shooting, and I don't think she'll ever get comfortable, no matter how many speeches by lauded instructors. She is most comfortable with safeties as well, and if it gets her to shoot, vs. freezing up, I will put the time into drilling her on safety manipulation until its a brainstem function. It's a compromise, true, but better than the alternative.

FYI: She loves to go shooting, and asks frequently when we're going next. I didn't intend to make it sound like I make her handle firearms against her will. The munchkin OTOH, was a born shooter. Can't get the grins off either face for a long time. Ammo is cheap good mood insurance! [:D]

Picked up a mag extension for oper8or cred. Considering a comp. Probably won't since it'll only be for pics mostly.

How does that happen? I can't visualize it. My first thumb joint is under my grip thumb.

My support hand does hold the slide stop though, so I don't get slide lock on an empty mag.
