Just sharing some photos from the Krebs Customs shoot this last weekend with Everyday Civilian (https://www.instagram.com/everydaycivilian/) and 13c Gun Reviews (https://www.instagram.com/13cgunreviews/).

Had a line up of Krebs Rifles, some Post samples. Some new stuff and some prototypes. They also brought along a converted SAW and a Swedish K.

Here's a few of my favorite shots.

Out of curiosity, what was modified on the SAW?

You know, I'm not sure. They went over it and I was listening but it's such a foreign rifle to me I don't recall what was done.

It was a commercial FN, and they fixed it.

So I'm guessing it was fully automatic when you were shooting it? Sounds like they did some machining to "fix" the factory limitations that FN put in there so it couldn't be converted easily.

Yes it was, full auto. Great fun. But a 5-6 foot belt goes quick. Haha

GatorDev,

Is there such a thing as a semi-auto SAW? It would seem that the expense would make for a limited use/market? Or were they just modified so they can't fire full auto?

Personally, I've never touched one, but my cousin's husband is a retired Marine, and he told me that not only are they a handful to shoot and heavy to carry, but they weren't too accurate, either.

Still it would have to be a blast to get to run some ammo through.[wow] Your a luck guy. Your friends have cool toys.

Yes - https://fnamerica.com/products/rifles/fn-m249s/

For the low low price of $8,499.00. Costs more than some transferable machine guns.

Ohio Ordnance did a trigger pack a few years back that had a semi/auto selector but as for any T&E by the powers that be I don't know, back when I was in the Army they were full auto fun.
FN has a current M249 for a small slice of your soul that you can own.
