Machined from Extruded 6005A-T6 Aluminum and Type 3 Hardcoat Anodised, Class2 Deep Black.
Durable and Robust design with Ultra narrow diameter, 1.55'' OD.
Features Ambidextrous QD Sling mounting points.
Zero Protrusion over Upper Receiver allows the handguard to be mounted to any upper design regardless of shape or size.
Patented Anti Slip & Anti Rotation system, strengthens the handguard in the receiver end area and allows strong clamping onto the barrel nut. Handguard cannot be removed from the barrel nut without removing all three fixing screws.
Screws are Grade 8 Steel, Black Oxide Finish.

Available lengths: 6.75", 9", 10.5", 12.5", 13.5" & 15"

Supposedly better than 6061 for extrusions, which is how most handguards start out. Very similar properties otherwise.

Correct - They're pretty much neck and neck material property wise aside from the 6065 has JUST a little more tensile strength. 250 vs 270. 6061 does have a bit more chromium in it as well. 6005 does extrude better.
