These weights are crazy! And the pricing is decent, considering he materials and process. Surprised VSeven hasn't innovated a new barrel nut mounting solution yet.

Sounds like the original KMR material, which I've heard has had some durability issues.

Not sure after it's alloyed with aluminum, but magnesium is fairly soft. Maybe this would be a better material for a competition/gaming gun, or a bench weapon?

I saw these on their site the other day. I love V7 stuff, but after the issues with my Magnesium BCM KMR, I'm not willing to chance another magnesium component.
