I received the 3-12x model as a Christmas gift from my wife two years ago. For those unfamiliar with it, it's basically a ruggedized IR sensitive digital camcorder setup as a rifle mounted scope. Comes with an IR illuminator that adjusts between spot and flood and is effective out to approximately 200 yards. The picture in night mode with the illuminator seems on par with the one gen 2 NV scope I've looked through, not bad for varmint scope that goes for under $600 if you shop around.

I just curious if anyone else has/used one and your experiences with it.

Here's the two rigs I've tried it on. I've found I prefer it on the 20" Bushmaster Predator 5.56. I've kill a few hogs with it and it's been a nice asset for that use.

I am dying to do a night hunt. Sweet setup, brother! You going back to .450 any time soon?

I've thought about another .450 upper, but probably not until I have the time and space to reload for it.
