I've been hearing rave reviews on their new Diamond Trigger for Remington 700 type guns.

Rather than take my word for it read more here. Sounds pretty awesome.

Here is a link to the manufacturer's site.

Looks like I know what trigger I will be using in my future bolt gun(s).

"The new Diamond trigger is adjustable from 4 ounces to 2 pounds, and has zero creep. They’re priced at $290."

4oz pull on a single stage flat trigger with no creep... holy s batman.

I didn’t like the feel of the one I had in an AR and twice the hammer failed to reset in 90 rounds. The one I took the time to inspect, the firing pin had dimpled the primer as the hammer just followed the bolt into battery. Sketchy to say the least. Dropped in a CMC and never thought about it again.

Sinner, I assume you tightened the two set screws on install?

The same thing happened to me with my first one. Even had double-firing. I had failed to tightened the set screws which I didn’t know about since my first came in OEM packaging without instructions. I’ve had no problems since.

The Diamond is so popular they didn’t even offer it for sale on Black Friday. Haha

Yes they were properly tightened. Personally I wonder why they can’t achieve the tolerances every other cartridge type trigger can and get the correct engagement height off the trigger pins.
