Midway is regularly advertising this ammo at discounts.

Anybody here use it? Opinions?

I've shot several cases of it, but mine were older lots. I've heard the newer lots aren't quite as hot. Obviously different barrels like different rounds, but I've had extremely good results with what I've shot. For a while, there was a lot that would pop primers, but I don't have experience with that and I think IMI addressed the issue.

I'm down to my last case and change and I'm trying to figure out what I want to buy to replenish. I figure whatever I buy, I'm going to have to redo DOPE and zeros. I'm leaning towards going back to Black Hills Blue Box, since Brownell's has coupons all the time. But the IMI is still on the short list.

Thanks. I'll give it a try.

That's a great price. I've got some, too, and have had good luck with it. I think my barrel liked the Fiocchi 77gr SMK load a bit better, and I've also been happy with the CBC stuff from Brazil.

Thanks guys.

I only ordered 240. Never shot 77gr so this will be something new for me.

Seems like a pretty good price. I need to try some.
All I've shot out of mine is 75gr Hornady. While it works great I'd like to try more stuff.

Midway has been regularly e-mailing discounted prices IMI 5.56 77gr. Usually just for one day. Today, the same 12 x 20rd is back to $199 or $228 with an ammo can. Expensive ammo can.

So much for that.. I've been laying in 420 cans of M855 at $130 a pop. I keep several hundred rounds of high quality stuff around, but I tend to stick to 55 and 62 gr cheaper stuff of decent manufacture for high volume shooting.

I've been shooting M193. Stocked up last year when Federal offered $50 rebates per 1k. $250 delivered after rebate was the best price I had seen in several years.

Hell of a price for that. I like the IMI. SGAmmo used to have the 1k bulk packs of this for around $550 until it got popular. Now it’s around $340 for 500 there. Still a good deal for the quality of this ammo. I’ve squeezed 1/4 MOA groups out of my bolt gun with this ammo.

Holy cow, can't go wrong for that price ($140 for 240 rounds). 77 razorcore is great ammo. Older stuff was maybe a little better, but it also wasn't .60-.70 cents a round either.
