Picked up a pair of used Trijicon Accupowers in a trade. A 1-4 for my 16" carbine and a 1-8 for my 308.
Currently have an Aero mount for the 1-4 but DISCOM offered up a Badger Ordnance for it. That'll be a bit of an upgrade so that's going to be awesome.

Supposed to be hitting the range with a buddy next week. Looking forward to sighting in the 16". Still need to save up for a 34mm mount.

I'll update my experience after sighting in the 1-4.

Reticle is same on both, here is a look down the 1-8. 1-4 is second focal plane, 1-8 is first.

I had the 1-4. Good view with both eyes open. Looking forward to your report and comparison.

Small correction: The 1-4 is SFP. The 1-8 is FFP.

Oops. Good catch.
So far I'm very happy with the 1x. Previous 1-4 and 1-6s i've had 1x left quite a bit to be desired.

Not much time with any of the Accupower’s but the Accupoint’s are a very good optic for the $$. My only real complaint is the lack of precision reticles on the lower and mid power ones.

And get that mount off the foreend. Lol

And get that mount off the foreend. LolHaha, I couldn't push the scope far enough forward in the mount.

Even with extending the stock?Well sure. I just typically go to the second setting on the tube. Sometimes 3. And where it's now it seems the best fit.

I'm getting a new mount quicker than expected. That should help

Thanks to DISCOM for the upgraded mount. Got it sighted in this weekend.
