SBCG stands for Secure staking, Slick side BCG. The area forward of the gas vents on the carrier has been textured to aid in pushing close an out of battery bolt, specifically on uppers without a forward assist. We use Ned's OCKS (Optimized Carrier Key Screws), they are torqued to spec and properly staked by our friends at Sionics.
A true forward assist can exert more force, for better or worse, than a thumb pushing on the carrier. The textured part on the SBCG carrier is quick to get to, and on uppers with a forward assist, offers an alternative for the rear mounted forward assist.
SBCG is NP3 coated (specs on product page linked above). Pre-production units were NiB coated, and used proprietary (Wiley Arms designed) carriers, production version is based on TDP spec M16 carriers.
A day after its introduction, the stock is effectively halved from pre-orders, OEM and dealer commitments, and the dimpled version is already out from our site, but dealers (Big Tex Outdoors) will have them still [:D]
