That's a lot of cool hardware in one spot!

Question: Anybody there run an AK with a magnified optic? I have a DDI AK in 5.45x39mm that's a lot of fun to shoot with a Vortex Viper PST 1-4 on a Midwest mount.

A buddy has a strike eagle on his vepr and I do like that. It's on an RS mount and sits nice and low

I have the Troy gas tube rail on mine, and tried an Aimpoint T-1/3x combo - I didn't like that, either.

The Strike Eagle combo sounds a lot like my set up, and I like it for exactly the reason you stated / it sits nice and low, and comes to the eye just right.
