I have a P80 build on a 19 sized frame in .357 Sig. They did not include a blank serial number plate, and I'd like to add a custom serial number to it, just to quit feeling paranoid about uninformed or misinformed law enforcement that does not realize that it doesn't require one. I'm willing to pay a reasonable price to anyone who can make me one. I'll provide the custom serial number, probably just my initials and P80 and year of build.

I don't have access to the shop I was using, at least for the next few months, or I'd do it myself.

Let me know $$ how much and when and whatever else. PM me here is best.

Thanks,

FT;)

Thanks, UW, shot an email off to them to see if they would do it.

Looks like they make large UPC tags to stick on pistol. I'm looking for the little strip that fits into the bottom of the frame.

They have an FFL, they can laser whatever you want onto the frame. Or whatever tag you want. They did my HK 416 engravings, top notch quality/work.

Thanks. I'll wait until I hear their reply to my email. Hopefully it's what I want.

Call up p80 and tell them you never got the plate..From everything I’ve seen their customer service is good..

That and maybe ask them while you got them on the phone..

Or just get an engraver and DIY....[BD]

I’ve always been under the impression that unless you register the serial # with the NFA it’s actually worse than no number on the weapon. Also pretty sure the weapon has to have the manufacturer engraved on it too. Just a serial # by itself with no manufacturer is worthless.

Thanks. I'm starting to wish I never built the damn thing, now.
