Anyone mate the two? I’m looking into the MK8 or MK14 for my next build. I’ve got the upper, and it looks similar enough to my forged upper, but I’m wondering if anyone has tried the combination of the two.
Thanks

I ran a MK14 on a FCD/CMT upper and had no problems.

Perfect. Thanks for the pic DISCOM. Now to make the final disunion between the MK8 or MK14.

I have shot both and still own both. IMO MK14 is the way to go but, that's your call and a tough decision.

Matches up to that NTD lower better than I thought it would.

Pic looks stretched but wow that's a nice looking build.

The lines match on both sides. It makes you wonder if CMT was milling for NTD or vise versa. [BD]

Can't go wrong with a mk4/mk8 or mk13/mk14 on the FDC/CMT. Not as big a fan of the newer mk16 rails. Not sure if a mk16 would even fit the FDC/CMT upper given the alignment tabs. Would be curious to hear if anyone has tried to fit a Mk16 rail on FDC/CMT upper?
