Is that the POF?

Atlantic Arms AA89, which according to AA, is manufactured by DJ Getz. I of course ordered this when it came back in stock, right before the POF-5 pre-orders started, but honestly, I knew this would run out of the box as opposed to the POFs which might have issues. No doubt AA would have taken care of me if there had been a problem with the POF, but this seemed like a good compromise between the price (a bit pricier) and function.

Shooting this just confirmed that I loathe pistol-based rifles, but I got it mostly sighted in at 25m and did some function tests with it and it ran every round I put through it. At the time, I only had the one mag that came with it, but I grabbed some more POF mags and will see how they run. I'm not expecting any issues. Form 1 is submitted, so hopefully in another few weeks I can test them out.

Oh, and the important part...this thing looks like it will be a lot of fun to shoot once a stock goes on there!

Oh Sully, way to give us a glimpse of the unicorn. I didn't think the stock kits would be available until a few 922(r) compliant parts were on the market. Is this an LE only issue?

It isn't and you can own one yourself right now. The airsoft version of the EVO 3 was designed from CZs CAD design and made of the same product. Problem is that you can't buy just the stock. The only difference is the locking button for the stock. A dremel can take care of it but I don't think there's a need. It's a solid fit and the rear sight won't allow the stock to completely slide off anyway. It's a quick solution until the intended one shows up

Yeah, I still like my full-sized gear more, but it's good to know what the little walk-around rigs can accomplish.

And check out that holster wear on the front of the trigger guard. Think this might have seen a few miles?

as far as I know, one of the first FDE zhukov's out. Been on the waiting notification list at AIM for quite some time. Notified on Friday, ordered, delivered today, installed tonight. BOOM! Install was pretty easy and straightforward. Hardest part was removing original stock which seemed to have been pressed in, hah

PS - had the rifle appraised, found out it's 95% correct ... the stock is wrong. Some yokel jacked the original stock and put on this Korean stock (GI's apparently never tapped the bullets against the stock, it was a Korean thing to do however ...).

So ... if anyone has an SA/NFR stock, and willing to sell it, let me know.

There are two stock options from Sig. Folding and telescoping. Other people are making options as well. The telescoping stock adds a little more length to the gun when collapsed then the folding one and the folding one weighs half as much as the telescoping stock

The wind was being less than cooperative, and one of the few cons to NF scopes is in order to adjust brightness you have to take the cap off and whip out a screwdriver. I know now to turn it down a bit and it would probably be more defined with less extra glow.
