How do you like that FNH? I am looking for my secondary now and I am leaning on the either a M&P 9 or a Walther PPQ-M2 9. But I have seen the FNH's and might have to try one out before I make a decision.

My HK P30L. The slide was showing wear so my good friend Jamie gave it a GunKote facelift. I also installed a Dawson fiber-optic front sight, which has really helped my eyes.

Walther PPQ First Edition 9mm with Surefire X300 weaponlight. Would I buy this gun again? Yes I would; in fact, I did, but a regular "classic" PPQ 9mm.

What do you like better the usp or the HK45. Want to get an HK for my next hand gun either a usp 9 or a p30

USP. The best part of the newer HK design is the grip. It does melt in your hands. Their design idea was comfort for different hand sizes. However I still prefer the USP grip (I have medium to large hands). And the biggest thing that sets the USP apart from the current models as well as any other sidearm is their patented dual spring recoil system. My 9mm USP is the softest shooting 9mm I've ever owned. Plus with the money you save going the USP route you can purchase a HK match grade trigger kit. It's heaven.

I love my USPc 9mm's. They are great shooters and very smooth. The extra money spent on LEM and light LEM triggers are worth it. However, the P30 is starting to become my favorite, mainly because when you grip it, it feels like it was made to be in your hand as cheesy as that sounds. The ergo's are second to none. I could do without the decocker near the hammer as muscle memory of decocking it on the lever is hard to break. If you can't decide, just get both. :)

So as we venture into the world of AR/AK pistol. I found numerous companies supporting this trend. Sig is manufacturing several AR 556/7.62 pistols. One component making head-ways is the "arm brace stabilizer". With a recent BATF decision where the user can now shoulder the arm brace stabilizer, does that mean more AR/AK pistols will be seen at pistol/carbine classes? Imagine that.

No photos of any targets but I will say that my accuracy was greatly improved with the trigger and Apex kit. I guess these guns are notorious for somewhat cruddy triggers, and mine was no exception. About 50 rounds out of the case my trigger felt like I had dragged it through a desert it was so gritty. Reset and trigger pull was unpredictable.

After I installed all the apex parts it made a world of difference. Pull is very predictable now, reset and over travel are greatly improved. The trigger was added really because I hate the factory hinged trigger and prefer a glock trigger, but love the ergonomics of this gun over the glock.

All I need now is the 10-8 mag well and base pads. Highly contemplating a Trijicon RMR.

I truly agree....the trigger on my M&P45 is horrible. I haven't added any Apex components yet, but eventually will....then it will get a trip to Ben Simonsen at Boresight Solutions (when he accepts new customers again) for external work.

My new late 2013 45 fullsize had a very bad trigger..down right sucked, it needed help for sure and it got the dcaek kit and poly trigger..night and day , in a good way, trigger travel, reset was much less, and trigger feel and lb dropped a good little bit, and you can kinda tune what # pull you want, my 45 was at the 5.5 setup and the 9mm i have and down the apex sear spring and copied somewhat the burwell trigger job and added the poly AEk trigger, again night and day, and just is a lot more fun to shoot now then its other twin..bone stock gen 4 glock 17...lol

You're making it hard for me to say no. Really was thinking about sending mine in for those and a RMR, but that's looking at another $1000 after it's all said and done.

I've got his full trigger job done in the full-size and just the clean up and reset in my compact. He does good work on triggers too.

I've felt the APEX duty/carry kit. They feel pretty similar. I don't think it would justify the cost to have him touch up the APEX.
Do you have the enhanced trigger (Glock looking trigger)?
I've been thinking about picking one up just to see how it feels.

Old craptastic photo I took. I recently found a hard-to-find folding stock adapter for the XCR. My two next purchases will be a SIG SIGTAC SB-15 brace and compatible tube as I wait for the paperwork to SBR this.

That doesn't look like your run of the mill cheap $50 Bianchi Holster. Very nice!

Picked this baby up too this weekend with the Glock.

Sig P220ST Carry Elite. Already got some G-10 grips and other goodies coming for it. My favorite gun of all time. I hate the new beavertail on the new Elites so I was super happy to find this 2011 BNIB for a good price and the old beavertail )

On my P226 Elite I found the factory wood grips are prone to cracking. What like like about these G10 grips is that they're a little thinner and aggressively checkered. Not so much that it bothers the hand but the factory wood ones are pretty slippery. These lock your hand in. They're also a little slimmer. The wood ones make the magazine release difficult to reach without adjusting your grip. The new ones relieve that bother a little. Plus they look cool as hell.

Lou at Business End Customs (http://www.businessendcustoms.com/) said he would do a 5 1/2 pound trigger job using the factory parts on the 9mm Shield. I also asked him to install a set of Tru-Glo sights. Average of ten pulls - Nice work !

They're great pistols! I first heard about them because they're a local company, based here in WA state. Great customer service and I got to pick up my pistol in person... even got my pick of the available serial numbers. ;)
