I've been wanting one of these rifles for a long time, and today was the day! This is without question the finest AR-15 I've ever seen, let alone have the pleasure to own. A Cadillac with a price to match, but worth every penny paid. As many of you know the problem isn't buying one of these rifles, but rather FINDING one. Now that I have it and the hunt is over, I can sit back and enjoy it. I doubt there is, or ever will be a finer gas piston AR-15. Bill T.

Bill,

Does that rear sight seem a little far forward?

Once you get a chance to put a few rounds through it, let us know what you think. I've been hearing a lot of good things about LWRC lately, but haven't used them myself.

Perhaps, by about an inch or so. It shoulders well, and sight acquisition seems OK. (Bear in mind I have not shot it yet.) Visualizing the weapon with an A-3 carry handle mounted, I would say you gain around an inch, perhaps a bit more in sight radius. One thing is for sure. That butt stock is an immense improvement, at least for me personally, than the standard M-4 version. Bill T.

These are a few quick pictures I took of my new LWRC M-6 Carbine I picked up this past week. This one will keep my CSAT Rifle company. I really like the pop up sights. They take a little getting used to, but I've got a similar set up on my Bushmaster Modular Carbine and it works out well.

What I really like about the LWRC series of piston rifles are the little things you notice over the many D.I. guns on the market. The way the receiver is strategically reinforced where the buttstock attaches. The massive attachment of the forend at the rear, and the larger trigger guard to accommodate gloved hands. They really go the extra mile to cover all the bases and pay close attention to detail that so many of the other manufacturers miss.

Both rifles side by side. Bill T.
