Anyone have a Taurus TX22?

There are a lot of glowing reviews of the Taurus TX22. I've been considering a pair for myself. Taurus is running a rebate (https://www.taurususa.com/TX22Rebate/)through September that makes this very affordable.

Anybody have experience with this little striker-fired .22?

Every once in a while they produce something besides a turd. Everything I've read and watched says the same thing: super reliable, high-capacity, well-made.

I guess we'll see ... going to order a couple today.

If it handles and shoots as good as it looks it'll be the first one I've been somewhat impressed by. I've never handled one, so I can't say, but their rep precedes them. Can't say I'd pay $10 to rent one to try out at my LGS. Post your learnin's Dave! I'm in the market for a compact since I swapped off my shield. I was thinking on looking at the 48 now that they have them in all black, or the P-365, but I dislike Sig nearly as bad as HiPoint. Just don't like the looks of the high barrel design..
