I have opened the box, test mounted on a rifle, and played with the windage and elevation adjustments and then sat it in my safe. Other than that it is brand new and comes with box and all paperwork. I bought this a few months ago at my LGS. I simply prefer LPVO with my old eyes with astigmatism.
