Not for the price they are asking. $279

I hope it changes its own oil and cooks and cleans

UMMMMM.....yeah, No.

I was figuring that it would run around $15-20...not $279. And I thought that it was made out of plastic...not billet aluminum.

It looks good, but not practical. No thank you.

I'll take some of what they're drinking. [wow]
Nifty conversation piece, but unrealistic pricing for what it is.

While I hate to add to this, and have been debating even posting the link on this, but here's a discussion thread on it...

Enjoy, while sipping on your standard mug.... ;)

I am trying to understand the utility in having an EOTech mounted on the mug. When one raises it to drink, is the intent to sight in on something? Looks like good craftsmanship, nice idea, but the price is out there. I have been to Huntsville for business and there is a lot of engineering going on down there, so someone making this mug is not surprising to me. This guy has talent--maybe he should be manufacturing ARs. I would invest in another DD rail system for a rifle before sinking that kind of $$ into a mug.

Very nice, but about $230 too spendy for me

You would miss some of the detail, but you could probably have a ceramic Stein made up that would run around $50-$75.

This is something that entire units would use for going away gifts and dining in's. That sort of thing. It really isn't meant for some guy to buy and use to drink beer down at the juke joint.

I got one for my kid for his commissioning. I need to pick up an A4 carrying handle for it.

Oh.. that's funny.. Just the cost of the rail and some plastic bags.. and your good to go. Optional upgrade with a carrying handle.
