Whats a black out receiver, and which 2 stage trigger?

I'm also curious to know who did the custom work to the Glock frame, and if you would have it done again.

Black Out lower has no visible makers markings at all, LMT 2 stage trigger.

I cannot remember who did the grip reduction it was a guy in Texas and it is excellent I will try and find his name for you.

Here's mine but I won't be shooting for month or so. I had carpal tunnel release surgery on my left hand yesterday.

Notice both of you are running irons on the shotguns. Is there a prohibition against optics like the T-1, or does it offer no advantage in the type of shooting?

Optics are an advantage.

For the stuff I shoot around here these things put you in Open class for USPSA rules:

Optics on shotguns
Porting on shotguns
Shotguns with detachable magazines
Shotguns loaded with more than 8 rounds in the magazine
bipods on rifles
optics on pistols
comps on pistols
more than one optic on the rifle
rifle comps can't be bigger than 1"x3"

For USPSA rules Multigun I shoot in Tactical. For the outlaw 3 gun I shoot Tactical or Limited. Tactical is just like Limited but allows 1 optic on the rifle.

Outlaw 3 gun around here is a little more forgiving.

Three magazines loaded with 10 round each. Fire one standing, transition to kneeling and fire one, transition to prone and fire one, back to kneeling, and back to standing, repeating until you exhaust all your magazines. Doesn’t sound too bad, but it gets your pulse rate up. Lost 9 on the IDPA target — needed to aim higher and I would have only pulled one or two, but I was shooting lower than I would have figured. Next stage was 25 yards, to 15 yards, to 7. All done standing. Ten shots each with rifle, then transition to pistol at 7 yards and engage head of target. Got too punchy and pulled three of my shots low. Didn’t do too bad overall.

Hope this doesn't go against the grain here. I've been looking into getting into 3 gun for a while now, but finding a club that holds such an event has proven very difficult. As I see that you are in Va, do you have any suggestions for a new competition shooter in the Central Va area? Anything from rules and styles. To clubs in which 3 gun comps are held. A pm works too if this is clogging up the intent of the thread.

Thanks!

Very nice 3 gun setup, Im very jealous of the 2011, I hope to have one someday. How do you like the SLP? Im in the market for a shotgun that im going to setup for 3 gun and Ive been looking heavily at the SLP.
