So what did you filthy animals get? Anything good?

Bought myself a green dot MRO which makes me want to sell all my red ones.

The best presents are coming in a few hours from North Dakota. My only grandchild - Henry, 13 months. And hopefully the annual gift of Wishek, ND ring sausage.

Funny you should say that. At the fall shoot we set up sort of a "Jungle Walk" where a lot of the plates were hidden in the trees. First time I had ever used the illumination on the Leupold scope. The dot on the crosshair was green. Can't believe how visible that was. Really liked it.

I got a Labradar.

I have been shopping on the side for myself though [:D]

Also bought my dad a new hunting rifle.

Our family skipped the gift-giving this year. I just spent time with friends and it was pretty good.

Same. My wife and I never exchange gifts, but this year it seemed like everyone valued time over presents.

Got to spend Christmas with my son who is on leave. We spent the day/weekend snow blowing and shoveling our way back to the cabin and was able to do a few rounds on the carbine course. He has NOD's and a MAWL on his new rifle. Pretty cool, my first time shooting with night vision... Not easy when there's 16" of snow on the ground and its 20 degrees out. Good times nonetheless. Spent Xmas eve with my daughter and had a pizza party at the house while a blizzard blew through town. It truly was a great time to just bond with family without out all gifts, tree's and other stuff that clouds the real reason for Christmas. Merry Xmas and happy new year to everybody!!
