Fort Tom posted the latest updates in the "announcement" section but also wanted to make sure long time members knew what was going on and thought I would have an open thread so you guys could chime in. FT, Jerry and myself are working hard behind the scenes to not only clean things up but to make WEVO a future destination for folks seeking and willing to share and learn. We are still blacking out occasionally but assure you its being feverishly worked on to be resolved. Feel free to chime in here if you want to. Stone

Hey BU, good to see you hanging around. Hope you bear with us while we try to make this transition. (Server). Hopefully more fun and interesting stuff to come. [:D] Keep coming back, we value your input.

Please let us know of any issues you guys are having or if you have any good ideas on possibly improving the website. We went through and cleaned up the classified section and am going through other sections to make sure everything is user friendly and a good experience to navigate through. If you come accross an old thread thats just wasting space like "Happy Easter 2010" with 3 posts in it, just reply in the thread "consider deleting" and one of us will take a look at it. Thanks again guys for your incredible patience!

Hey, I have a suggestion!

Maybe instead of whacking old threads, set-aside a graveyard thread to move those oldie but goodie threads that sometimes get a response to a post from 2017? I know I'm notorious for not checking date stamps before I respond sometimes, but if there's a relevant topic that gets a response, it might be helpful to future new guys and gals.

Of course, by all means please proceed with zapping the old happy easter threads that are obviously dated, but some of those old conversations have valuable information in them, otherwise people wouldn't raise the dead every once in a while!

Good idea.

Good idea.

I think that's what we're doing. stone was just pruning off some of those old "Classified" threads that were sold 12 years ago and such. And pretty much the "Happy Easter" stuff. We need to preserve our knowledge base, though. I agree.

Totally agree... I wont whack anything that has even the smallest bit of info, humor, or knowledge. Especially the Luis and UW threads! That shit was classic!!! It had me in tears from laughing so hard at times, he was like putty in UW's hands. Hahahaha! In fact when I come across some good threads I will even BTT the thread.
