Suppressors and Mounts... Pin & Weld

I finally am jumping onto the suppressor band wagon. I have an AB suppressor A10 (.30cal) and an AB suppressor Little Bird (.22/5.7) on the way.
The rear of the .30 cal is 1.375x24. So this will accommodate QD mounts. I have one rifle with a pinned and welded Keymo mount. I have another rifle that needs a new pinned and welded muzzle device (I really don't want to SBR this rifle, it's my Saiga).
I have another Keymo muzzle device sitting here on another rifle, should I pin and weld it, this way I'm only dealing with ONE QD mount type. OR should I go with another muzzle device/mount? OR, cut my losses now and replace both with a different muzzle device/mount?

If I cut my losses now I'm looking at most likely Reardon.

Yeah, the Saiga has a botched pinned & welded Griffin mount. Back in the day when I had the barrel chopped Griffin had just come out with their Optimus. And I thought for sure THAT was the can I'd be getting.
Anyway, the gunsmith pinned through the taper..... Which was extremely aggravating and discouraging. Now I need to have it removed and a Keymo muzzle device installed. I ordered the keymo hub mount. Just need to order a 1/2x24 keymo flash hider now and have it installed.

The amount of money I've put into this rifle (for what it is) is absurd. LOL

Indeed. He refunded me the cost of the mount. Still was out the cost of the work, and the work to repair. Also, told everyone I knew in the area to stay away. Haha.
He passed about two years ago.

It was a crappy job like this that caused me to get into building ARs on my own. I paid a local and reputable shop to install a quad rail on my LMT Defender (M4 with FSB). They cut off the sling stud from the FSB but the DD rail was designed to fit around it no problems. Not a huge deal as you can't use the sling with the rail, but I was annoyed I had to pay someone to unnecessarily cut my gun when they are supposed to be the experts. I did find an actual, real gunsmith in the area for anything that I can't handle, but generally I figure if someone is going to screw up my guns it might as well be me.

Assembling my own has been fun over the years. Having said that, I don't do pin and weld. I try to stay away from those requirements.

Well, I received the adapter and even following the timing instructions provided by Dead Air, I cannot get a tight fit. What a gigantic pain in the ass. Now considering re-selling the whole DA set up and going another route.

Now considering re-selling the whole DA set up and going another route.What's affecting the fit? Is the threaded portion too long, shoulder not concentric to the plane of the bore? I would think any combination of accu-washers and the peel washers Griffin supplies with their suppressors would get you sorted.

The taper was not engaging. Dead Air sent a new adapter and that one is working fine.

Well, youve been through just about every critical surface issue connected to that particular interface. Frustrating, indeed!

For my akm platforms I had to do facemount mounts. The regular ones didn't work with the sight blocks. If you go to the Otter Creek suppressor site they explain they no longer warranty anything dead air because they accounted for more than 60% of their issues.
I converted to rearden/ plan B. They have the Blyat which is specifically for AK platforms
