I recently got a MantisX 10. Hit the range with it and then did some dry firing with it yesterday. Really lets you gamify dry firing and simple range trips to make it fun again.
I used to dry fire A LOT and it got boring. Definitely worth it if you've been thinking about getting one. Haven't tried it on a rifle or shotgun yet. Or bow. Only bow shooting I really do is bowfishing. Might work REALLY well for the kid though.

I would have ordered a dryfire mag already but I think I'm getting one for Christmas.... Haha.

How does it work? I've heard about it obviously but I never looked at it closely (yet).

It connects to your rail or to the bottom of a mag with a small pic section you can attach to the baseplate of a mag. Download the app, and pair the device.
Connects extremely fast and easily. Super fun.

I was doing holster draw & fire last night and I think that's my favorite drill yet.
