another question from a newbie. has anyone used this mount? what co-witness do you get, lower 1/3 or absolute?

Lower 1/3rd. It's issued to Navy SEALs, I tried one, it's held on by a thumb screw, which isn't exactly the greatest. For the money, I'd rock nothing less than a Larue LT150

I'm a creature of habit. That said, I do want to give Bobro a try. I had their vertical grip and thought it was the heat.
I only went with the Wilcox mount because my mk18 clone wouldnt be complete without it.
Bobro is the only other mount I would consider. Though I don't have any yet, but it felt way solid. I was looking at the Trijicon branded Bobro. Nice.
