DD Middy

Thanks to gotm4 who did the work my DDM4 now has a DD Middy barrel.

I just got back from the range and I can report that it is a good thing to do. The rifle is easier on the shooter and doesn't loose a thing in accuracy.


A quick zero and in no time I was putting 5 shot groups inside of 2.5" at 100 yards with my C3 which given my eyesight makes me pretty happy.

She's a dirty girl now but ran well with everything I shot today. She was a little on the loud side though.

She looks real good. Nice grouping with your C3. I run one on my RRA Tactical CAR A4 (dressed up).

Next week, I will have my S&W M&P15ORC (Bushmaster/Ares piston mod) with DD Piston Omega 7 and 2MOA CompML3 and MBUS. I have shot it on one outing, but it was a short shoot to see how the piston operated and let some friends see how it came out. I am going to give it some more exercise and put about 800rds through it while on vacation in Texas visiting my dad next week.

I just modified a DPMS LR-308 in the same color scheme as your DDM4. I'll get it to the range after vacation. Look for it in the forum and let me you what you think.
