Had a chance to blast with this rifle while I was home. Monty makes one hell of an upper. I have a wide variety of AR platforms, this was by far the most accurate of all.

The best example I can give is it is one thing to shoot a pop can hanging on a stick at 100 yards, its another to be able to shoot the stick.

Yep, one of them anyway ;)

That's the Mk12 mod1 upper on a POF-USA Gen III lower.

I shot with a few different optics and was very happy with the accuracy. I did not get a chance to bench shoot the rifle the way I'd like outside of a battle sight zero. I actually found that I liked the Knight's flip-up sights. At first I wasn't a fan as I was more used to the PRI and Troy flip-ups, but the 600m rear really grew on me fast.

I wish I could use the suppressor, Iowa is not suppressor friendly unless your LE and even then--not so much.

I have a Geissle DMR trigger but I found that I had alot of trouble getting the safety to engage. Not sure what the deal was so gave up and went with the RRA parts kit standard trigger for now. I have a trigger jig that I'm going to play with when I'm home again in December. I just flat ran out of time fast this last trip home. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, I just didn't figure it out.

I also higly recommend these POF Gen III lowers. Very well made lower, no issues dropping 1st or 2nd gen pmags, USGI variants, Lancers, or ARC mags.

I think the DMR should have instructions with it detailing how to file the safety to fit the trigger. It's a known issue with some safeties, but a quick and relatively easy fix by all accounts.
