I am not sure about triggers, but I do remember hearing that hand guard production would be impacted due to a contract. As far as seeing sales taking place around the same time, Easter weekend just happens to be one of the dates where Geissele lifts MAP restrictions for their dealers, so we can advertise deals without repercussions.

I have the Adams Arms rifle length piston kit in my 16.5" barreled AR. I love that rifle. The piston cycling is extremely smooth. All the gas vents out of the front of the handguard and the pistol gas block is self cleaning.

I have the Adams Arms rifle length piston kit in my 16.5" barreled AR. I love that rifle. The piston cycling is extremely smooth. All the gas vents out of the front of the handguard and the pistol gas block is self cleaning.

Dealing with some shady shit again with Brownell's.

Placed order for 2 of these and honestly it slipped my mind for a few days and no emails about shipping. Looked at my account status and the original order was cancelled and a new order was in the system as shipped. All items including the two barrels are listed as shipped. The orginal barrels listed for sale are now discontinued and they have the same barrel listed with a different part number for the normal retail of $289.

Nothing really odd until today and I receive a email saying they mistakenly shipped 2 M4 profile 14.5" barrels and they will issue a return shipping slip and refund my money once the barrels are returned.

The package is due tomorrow so we will see what is actually in the package. First time I have ordered from them since I had to get a CC company involved 6 months ago over a bogus bill. I hope no one holds their breath waiting for those barrels back.

Put a few thousand rounds down range with it... and not clean it because it's "cleaner" I've got a seized up upper I can show you if you prefer not to see the results.

Granted not everyone can afford to shooting a few thousand rounds a session and have access to F/A. It will simply take longer for you to figure this out. I just don't want people to believe this nonsense that pistons are cleaner. Pistons simply deposit the dirt elsewhere... and contrary to popular belief, there is still some blow back into the BCG area. I think Short Stroke Pistons on the AR platform are pure garbage. They're heavier, more expensive, and generally have a weird (snapper) recoil impulse to me. Of course there are other documented issues with pistons.

I've had 3 AA kits and tried to give them a fair shake, but I can't recommend them over a DI AR. The only piston that piques my interest is the PWS as it's a long stroke piston.

Your mileage may vary.

I'm not sure how the hell the gas block even could be cleaned without removing the handguard and piston...... However, it may be possible to clean the inside of it by removing the gas adjustment knob.

This is the rifle I won from the Gunstruction competition. They had it receiver accurized by CIV Tactical. It's the first piston rifle I've fired. It does fire very smooth and there isn't much in the way of recoil. This also has the Adams Arms low mass bolt carrier in it. I still have a lot more testing I will do with it then I'm sure I will know more.

Granted, I clean the rifle. It's the gas block that supposedly doesn't need cleaning. If you have a low profile gas block under a free float hand guard there isn't really any way to clean that gas block either. How much grit gets built up in the gas tube and gas block?

This place just tripped me out. I tried to order an upper but when I clicked to submit/confirm my order it took me back to the home page. No order confirmation number, no nothing, item still in the cart. No order confirmation email either.

He had the rimfire Eotech's on sale for $210 listed on the site. Placed an order for 2 for my kids rifles Sat. morning the holiday weekend. It struck me as odd that when a friend tried to purchase one a hour later they were completely gone from the website. Last Tuesday I received 4 emails with 3 different tracking numbers that did not work until Thursday and then only one but it showed a Friday delivery.

The package arrived Friday containing only one optic. Called the website number and spoke to Chris Schuyler and he said that they split the package into two and that's why I had 2 tracking numbers. I told him 1 of 4 worked and he stated he would do a trace with his local post office. Said he would call me back by Sat. at latest. No call. Sunday afternoon he replied to an email I sent Sun morning and told me he was waiting for a reply from the post office. I explained to him I wanted to give these to my kids on Wed. when they finished the school year and I was willing to pay for a third and figure out the lost one later. He stated he had none left. 8 were show on his site for normal retail. He then told me that's his suppliers quantity and they would be drop shipped.

This morning I called USPS and inquired about the 3 non working tracking numbers and the "trace" he claimed to do. I was told there were no records of any inquiry and I was the first activity on those numbers since they were created online. I sent an email to Chris as soon as I finished with USPS and never got a reply. Tried to call this evening and got no answer. Called 20 minutes later from a different phone and got an answer first ring.

When I actually spoke to the man he was very nice and seemed concerned but was either being deceptive or just not following through with what he said.
