I am wanting to get all my ducks in a row, so when I decide to jump into the NFA pond, I am ready.

I think I want to set up a trust so my boys and wife don't have any issues if I am not around. That being said, are there any down sides to using a trust?

Any advice on how to go about getting one set up?

I am a huge advocate of using an attorney that is familiar with trusts AND class III issues. If you get a reference for an attorney, chances are good that your state has a database in which you can look up their record, when they passed the bar, etc. Some of the people trying to set themselves up as trust experts passed the bar just over 2 years ago. caveat emptor for sure.

Thanks Rob.

Does anyone have a lawyer in SE Washington that they would recommend? If not SE Washington, anywhere else in the state?

I am still looking for a lawyer. If someone has a suggestion for a lawyer in Washington, but does not want to post it here, please feel free to PM me.

Thanks.
