I was wondering if there are any ar15 gas blocks on the market that are adjustable. I was thinking up the perfect SPR build and I thought about how in shooting scenario being able to temporary disable the gas system and prevent the brass from flying would be useful for concealment. Also would the shot placement change if the gas system was turned off compaired to when it was on? Just dreaming here.

PRI and JP Rifles make some adjustable gas blocks but they aren't quick adjust, they use a hex screw. For a quick adjust type, I'd check into the Noveske switchblock.

Does the Noveske switchblock allow you to completely turn off the gas system? Also it looks like you cannot just buy the gas blog by itself. Lets hope they start to sell them separately.

Hey thanks I did not see that. When I build my SPR someday that along with a suppressor will be going on it.
