So after 2 years and @ $2,300ish, I don't know the exact number as I've kinda lost track plus project got put on hold a few times, I'm the proud owner of a new rifle. Although I'm not sure what to call it, it's a smorgasbord of parts and I'm not sure what style it would be referred to as either. My goal was to build an accurate, reliable rifle that will last me for many years, and I hope I've achieved this but she hasn't had her first range date yet as I've been swamped at college. Anyway parts are as follows:

Lower: POF gen 1
Trigger: Geissele SSA
Safety and takedown pins: DPMS
Grip: Magpul MIAD
Buffer and tube: standard mil spec car lenth
Buttstock: LMT SOPMOD
Magazines: 8 Pmags, 8 GI 30rd w/Magpul followers
Upper: CMMG, hand picked to mate solidly with the POF lower
Barrel: Noveske 16" SS 7PT 5.56mm chamber
Flash Hider: YHM Phantom
Bolt carrier: Les Baer NM
Bolt: CMT
Rail: Daniel Defense 12" lite rail
BUIS: Troy flip ups
VFG: Knights Armory

Nice setup, and good use of light in the images.

How do you like your Sony?

Thanks for the compliments guys. As far as the Sony goes I love it, I've been shooting minolta for years and the A700 excepts all my lenses. The lighting for this was very simplistic, just a wireless flash, Lightsphere and a reflector on one or two of these. How do you like your Canon?

I love the 'Safe' > 'Fire' > "HOSS" on your lower. If it was photoshop'd, I can't tell.

Welcome aboard!

Yeah, that was photoshop'd, I saw how Stick watermarks his images and thought it'd be fun. This morning I decided to play around with a watermark and you might be able to pick up on the progression in each picture I did as I started having more fun with it. Here's my SA 1911 Serial # HOSS

Very nice. I've heard nothing but good about Noveski barrels, well Noveski in general.
