POF and Magpul lowers

I got these photos from Stick's thread about billet lowers. Are Magpul lowers made by POF or vice versa? They look very similar. Thanks for the wonderful photos Stick [:)]

The first run were made by POF, then subsequent ones were not. Someone asked this in our Magpul Carbine class and Travis Haley confirmed it. Though it was HOT in our class, so maybe he was just heat stroked ;)
