Don't know if anyone tried these at all, but I bought five after my first one and I just LUUVVV DEMM! They just feel so positive and solid when charging with one hand. I'm a fan.

When my wallet has some breathing room I will be pickin up a few. BCM hit a home run with them!

Yep, until something better comes out, these are the only charging handles I will be using.

After getting one of them and feeling the stability of it, I retrofit all 4 of my AR-15s with them--need them to make a AR-10/LR-308 that fits the DPMS upper to replace my .308 rifles.

I've been running the BCM medium charging handle( BCM 4), on my Colt 6920 vs the original charging handle, WOW. With the original charging handle I would always torque the handle to an obscene angle and create a dragging sensation. I've switch to various brands out there including the high end PRI gas buster. Like M24 shooter, I am in the process of a short review.

The feel of the BCM medium gives me enough grasp to grab hold of the larger
latch vs the original. With repeated manipulation of the charging handle for various drills/malfunction drills, I wasn't worried as before. This is a very solid piece of gear. As a lefty, reaching over to grab the charging handle was a bit of a task especially with the original charging handle.

If BCM can make this into an ambi charging handle, I'd buy it. The rational for the medium handle was with all the gear on the vest, I didn't want the latch to hang on my gear, pouches, or gadgets. I haven't tried the BCM 3 yet but will end up buying one for my Colt 20" rifle One should consider getting the BCM for their AR, it's GTG and one less thing to worry about.

I think I'm the last person on the planet who hasn't seen or used any of these.

I can NOT STAND these charging handles. The latch sticks out so far that when I have my carbine slung across my chest, I feel like I'm going out like Steve Irwin with a stingray barb to my heart.

If I ran one of these it'd be snagging on gear, cars, small children, etc.. wherever I went.

Negative. I'm with you... they do look like good quality pieces. I may have to order one up and give it a try.

Hopefully before the end of the year I'll get a change to get some time on one, then I can make an informed decision. Just based on what I have seen, I'm guessing I'll prefer the Mod 4 (medium) which does not protrude as much as the 3.
