First and foremost, Hello to everyone. This is my first post so if anyone can steer me in the right direction or give me advice, it would be appreciated. I am kinda on a low budget and I was looking at the MI T10 or the YHM diamond series(spector). Which would be the one to go with for the money? I'm trying to find reviews and I'm not getting any luck on any of the 2.
Thanks!

I would go with the YHM because it has the anti-rotaion screws on the side.

I have a YHM rail (lightweight) on a RRA carbine and it is on there really solid. Never had problems with rail compatibility either. Stable as a can be. The only issues I have with it are that it is kind of large in terms of grip diameter, but you would have the same size issue with a MI....I imagine.

I was glad to be able to actually handle a diamond series and YHM's 5005 tube/rail before purchase. The 5005 was much thinner than the other by my precieved grip.

Interesting. I have gone DD and LaRue on my rails over the last year for new builds. I like YHM products, I just wasn't that interested in the whole roundness of their lightweight rail. I'll bet the 5005 is a solid product.

I ended up going with YHM anyway. I got it at http://vtsupply.com/index.php. I think i got a good deal and shipping was a flat rate of $6.95. Either way, I'm glad that I won't be having those crappy hand guards. Thanks for your input.

I recently helped a friend of mine work on his AR that had a YHM free floater on it. I actually came away from it liking that setup better than the DD Omega Rail I used to have. It might not be as attractive, but that isn't the point, is it? For one, you can put this handguard on with a regular barrel nut wrench, you don't need a specific tool that you have to pay extra for, as in the case of a lot of DD's offerings. The YHM is solid.

I could care less about the look. It's more function to me. Every now and then you get something that isn't expensive and out performs the highend stuff. I feel good about my purchase. Thanks!

I have a YHM Diamond midlength rail, only complaint is it feels kind of wide, but if you use grip like the Magpul guys advocate it's not really that bad. Rails are to spec and it's not too heavy with all those diamond holes cut in there.
Plus I got a sling stud that screws in the front and takes a quick detach swivel, which is nice with the MS2 sling.

Sweet! I should be getting it sometime next week. I went with the spector version. I also got the spector gas block and the forearm end cap.
Thanks!
