These are a few quick pics of my new Rock River Arms 9 MM LAR-9 Carbine I picked up yesterday. I've been toying with the idea of getting a 9 MM AR-15 as a "fun gun" to take to the range. What kept me away were the seemingly unending amount of different magazines they take, and the feeding issues many of them have. What sold me on this new RRA was the dedicated lower machined specifically for the 9 MM. It takes RRA, Colt, and C-Products magazines with capacities up to 35 rounds. It will even accept the Beta-C 9 MM 100 round models, which I will be getting.

The 9 MM AR-15 is a nice choice for a really fun range gun, especially now with .223 ammunition rising so much in price. I can still manage to pick up 9 MM Federal Ball at Wal-Mart for $9.47 a box. Not exactly the cheapest, but not as painful as .223. I'll light it up after the holidays, and I'm anxious to see how it runs. Bill T.
