I have been looking at one of these, down at a local shop I go to.
Anybody know anything about them?
Thanks!

I looked at one before just browsing and found this on info sheets...

"Surefire Flash-Hider and G2 Light with VTAC Light Mount, One 30 Round Magazine. VTAC 2 Point Padded Sling, VTAC/JP Handguard. JP Single Stage Match Trigger. Three ADjustable Picatinny-Style Rails. Vltor MOD stock."

...seems like a no brainer. Add some sights and optics and you would be ready to rock, nothing else needed. S&W, VTAC, JP, Surefire and Vltor are all top shelf. I have always had good luck with smith and wesson guns of any sort. After looking at their offerings on their website, if I was going to buy one from S&W that one would suit me the best personally.

I'm just a civilian.
I went ahead and got it. The quality of this build is amazing.
I really didn't need another AR, but I'm a single guy now, so I buy what I like.
Thanks!

There is one in the local shop here and I've eyed it ever since it came in. Quality parts and it handles well. I believe S&W fixed their magwell issue with Pmags as I believe the older M&P15's had issues with their magwells not being up to snuff so Pmags wouldn't seat.
