Since I use a helmet at work every now and then I couldn’t help myself when I made eye contact with a new company called Mtek Weapon Systems. Mtek offers a ballistic shield to the Kevlar helmet, a shield to protect the jaw area of the head. As a gunner aboard a Humvee vehicle or helicopter gunship, I can see the need for something like this to protect my face/jaw. The things to come for troops in harm’s way.
