ASA Left Side Charging Upper Receiver

I ran across their left side charging handle upper receiver (http://www.americanspiritarms.com/products/ASA_AR_15_M4_Side_Charger_Upper_Receiver_without_C arrier-124-12.html) yesterday looking for something else.

It's looks interesting, but when I did a search of the fora on this site, I found that ASA's reputaiton isn't sterling.

Anyone have experience with this product?

I had bought two ASA receivers from them back in 2000. They worked and I didn't have any problems with doing a build on them. No fitting issues or anything.

Supposedly their QC use to not be very good. They're under new management now and they've been trying to get out from under that stigma.

I believe they're in Scottsdale AZ.
