This is my first post but I have been reading thread on here for sometime. I was looking into getting a M900 light for my rifle but am worried thhat it will add to much weight. I have been threw the stages of buying everything I could to put on my rifles and in the end hated them due to the weight.

This is what I have already:

Noveske N4 VIS Basic upper
LMT lower with SOPMOD and 2 stage trigger
Aimpoint Comp4
Surefire X300

I wanted to add a vertical grip and though that the M900 would better since I would not have to add a switch and it is an all in one unit.

Does anyone have one of these and how much weight does it add. I know the weight listed just didn't know if anyone has one.

I have a couple. They all sit in a storage container unused.

It's a solid VFG and light, but MAN is that mother heavy! Especially when you start adding other things to your front end like an Atpial and suppressor!

If the light is all you're going to add it's bearable.

For me personally, light is right.

This is a great light, but it's heavy. It's also battery hustler, so I got rid of it. Also most light now are LED this one is not.

I'd stick to the X300 with a seperate VFG. Untill recently I used a LT FUG, but have switched to the AFG just a few weeks ago (we'll see how that turns out).
