I got one of the Gear Sectors for review recently and am very impressed with it. I managed to break a VTAC, and the Gear sector is not only stronger but also lighter.

I run a Larue, but it's kind of expensive, but it's a solid mount.
I kind of like the Gear Secter version. Might think of picking one of those up.

I just got a G2 mount from Danger Close Consulting. http://www.dangercloseconsulting.com/

Very light and holds the light very close. It took a little effort to get the mount on to the end of the Omega rail, but it's surely not going anywhere.

It tucks that G2 right up tight there against the HG’s…nice.

Thanks! It's so tight, in fact, that I had to trim back some of the ladder on the top rail.
I also have to get a different clicky tailcap, as the one I had is larger in diameter than the G2 and won't fit.

I have a Viking Tactics mount on my rifle, and no complaints as far as function go, it's a great lightweight, inexpensive option if you're cool with polymer. The only problem is their "OD" green is really foliage green.

I have the VLTOR Off-Set Scout that I run w/ a TD Vertical Grip. With the mount set under the rail it puts the light perfectly next to my vertical grip. It's all aluminum construction and very good craftsmanship. It locks up tight to the rail and on the light. Love it!!! and not terribly expensive.
