Eotech tact question

I just mounted a 512 on my rifle, got it all zeroed in and loved it. One question i have though. With a 50 yard zero, say i have a target thats close quarters. Lets say 20 yds and in. Instead of using the center dot to aim would I be correct in using the inside portion of the bottom tick mark to aim? :confused:

I've used the bottom tic mark at closer CQB distances, like 5-7 yards, but I have a feeling that at 20 yards your POI will be high. Of course the best way to determine that is to shoot your gun and see how it works for you.

See this occurred to me on the way back from the range. I think your right about it being the POI being to high.
