I'm sure I've seen these discussed around here somewhere but trying to search for the model didn't turn up any results and Noveske... Let's just say there were ample returns with nothing notable.

I'm pretty interested in these compared to a Vortex or a Blackout. I know it's a larger and bulkier FS but it seems to do its job very well from what I've read elsewhere. My questions are: Is this really only needed on a SBR or if you want to kill as much flash/blast as possible? Is there any way to mount a suppressor to it? It certainly looks like the first stage of a sound suppressor. Thanks guys. - Colt

If you're looking for a flash suppressor, a Pig isn't the best choice. The purpose of the Pig brake is to focus and direct sound towards the front of a SBR shooter so that others that are to the sides of him aren't affected by the blast/noise. You'll still get a great noise/flash especially from a SBR. To the best of my knowledge there is no way to attach a suppressor without removing the brake beforehand.

As already mentioned, the KX3 works well for its intended purpose, but its not going to kill all the flash. The KX3 is designed to direct the concussion of SBRs away from the shooter, and to slightly increase back pressure to aid in reliability. There is not going to be a can which will interface with the KX3.

That's a great picture, Stick. Pity about the suppressor.
