PWS has followed up with the FSC30 - the big brother to the FSC556 - the only true flash suppressing compensator on the market.

This product, as is the FSC556, is a compensator first - with enough flash suppression to keep the flash out of your optics/night vision/line of sight/etc.

This is not a flash hider and as such is classified by the BATFE as a non-flash suppressing device, so it is legal in all states.

Todd, I've been using the FSC30 for a couple of weeks now on my 6.8SPC and it is awsome. I also have the DNTC308 that I had on the 6.8SPC and it is very similar to the FSC30. Both are great products.

Glad to hear it. I was actually talking to Tim at Ko-Tonics about your rifle and our comp today.

So do you feel the FSC30 works better than the DNTC308 for the 6.8 - or is it about the same? Just curious - we felt we got the same recoil managment with a little better compensation in the FSC30 regarding the 6.8.

Todd, I didn't notice much of a difference between the FSC30 and the DNTC308. The flash is about the same as an A2 Flash Suppressor, which is very nice since they are both considered comps. I initially had an MSTN 6.8SPC QC brake on it and your comps are noticeably quieter and have very little side blast, unlike the MSTN, which has a lot of side blast. Nohing against the MSTN, but I prefer the FSC30 or the DNTC308 better.

Hey Cold. I only post on a couple of Forums now as most have been overrun by too much crap. This is a great site.

FYI: everythime I go to the range, I always get asked about the FSC30. They are amazed how a "muzzle brake" can be effective as the FSC30 without producing flash and side blast.

It works great I shot my AR10 with it yesterday for the first time. Excellent recoil reduction. It was somewhat intimidating at first as I could feel the concussion go by my head but once I got used to it it was kind of cool. You knew you where shooting something. I have this break design on my AK and one of my AR's as well.

Any experience with a JP Enterprises Tactical Comp? How does the FSC30 compare in regards to controlling rearward recoil?
