AR-10

Just received this so I wanted to post some pics of it - it's much smaller than I thought it would be.
I have always preferred A1 and "Duckbill" style grips over the A2 and it's finger groove.
I saw this one and had to have it. It's sort of a cross between an AK-47 grip and a Duckbill AR-15 grip.
Be warned though, this grip is pretty small - in fact shooters with larger hands might not care for it.
Here's what you get:

For comparison, here it is on top of an A2:

Installation takes about a minute, pay attention to the selector spring and detent when removing your existing grip:

Here is something I like to do anytime I have access to the selector - I like to take a toothpick and pack the channel with grease, not only does it make the action of the selector super smooth, it makes it virtually silent:

A few drops of SLiP on the rest of the selector and it goes back in, followed by the selector detent (pointed end towards selector) and the spring goes into the grip hole:

Here it is installed, the supplied screw already has a patch of thread locker and don't bother with a new star washer - you won't get one to fit inside the grip:

I am liking how it feels so far, but then again I have average-sized hands and this grip fits me perfectly.
