Quick Authenticity Check Please? EOTech XPS2

I bought this Eotech XPS2 for a screaming deal. I bought it from a member with lots of feedback and as far as I am concerned it is real but I wanted to double check. I took a look at the L3 website and their pdf on fakes and this seems to be GTG but I wanted consensus.

Glass/Optics - Flat.. look identical to those on my 516
Overall Feel - Right weight.. right feel
Top piece of glass - check
Stickers under the optic - present and authentic looking.

Check the pictures and let me know. The only thing that is weird is that it has a cable securing the battery cover and not a 1 piece plastic device like I've seen in images online.

Definitely looks real. I'd call L3 on Tuesday and they should be able to verify with the serial number.

There's only one outfit to my knowledge that even makes passable EOtech knockoffs, and they haven't gotten around to churning out XPS replicas.

I bought mine from a major outdoor sports retail store and it has the same cable.
