Is the new BG17 actually larger in size, angle and width versus the older, standard version? It looks like the new one has a higher backstrap. I had the old version, but it was just a tad too narrow and thin, even for my medium hands. Running the MIAD now with the biggest inserts. Any pic comparisons or info?

To me it feels somewhere between the largest and medium backstraps on a Magpul MIAD. I preferred the feel of the TangoDown to the MIAD but also thought it was just a bit too small. The BG-17's size and shape helps in proper trigger finger placement for me. It's a keeper and I'm glad they addressed the size issue with this new grip.
