I am looking for a good .223/5.56mm load for deer hunting. I have been told that the Barnes 70 gr .223/5.56mm Triple Shock (TSX) bullets are the way to go. I am looking for a factory loading with this bullet. If it exists, where can I purchase one? It won't do me any good if it is out of stock, because I will need it by November 17th. If there isn't anything else out there, what factory loading would you recommend for this?

I couldn't tell you whether that load is or isn't effective for deer but I do know it is available at Silver State Armory (http://http://www.ssarmory.com/556ammunition-70gr-leadfree.aspx) and they are having a sale

Yeah I looked on there and they are sold out of the 70 gr Barnes stuff. Does anyone know where I can find this sort of load?

For deer, you may want to check out the lighter Barnes bullets also as they will expand more easily with the added velocity. If SSA doesn't have any in stock, check their retailers.
