This one is for a MOE Carbine Length or A2 Round Hand Guard. Two piece cantilevered design places the light next to FSB, with bezel in front and above barrel & FSB, improving operator sight picture with no shadows.

I like the look of these. Definitely interested in the weight of the G2 solution vs. MI FSB mount + ring.

Planning on doing any with a rail for attaching the X300 and similar pistol lights?

IWC has a PatPend MOUNT-N-SLOT for the M300 & TLR style of lights, with a built-in rail, which is very similar to the MOE SCOUT light mount. Simply imagine replacing the section where the SCOUT mounts to with a 5 slot 1913 rail section, and this is what it looks like.

We believe the advantage to our design over the MI FSB Mount is that they weigh less.... the SCOUT MOUNT-N-SLOT for the MOE/A2 weight just 1.1 oz with hardware. and it places the light closer to the FSB than the 1913 rail adaptor on the SCOUT / MI Rail Mount allows. And they weigh more than IWC's design. Heck... SureFire's 1913 rail adaptor on the M300A SCOUT weighs: 0.832 oz alone! This part is eliminated with our Direct Attach MOUNT-N-SLOT design.

Nice! I think I just found a solution to my MOE equipped carbine w/o a light. It looks like a Streamlight PolyTac LED would fit as well.

I picked up a TMC mount for use with a MOE carbine handguard a few weeks ago and will be getting some time with it.
