I have two M4(gery's) and I have Bushnell DOA scope for one. I have a Trijicon Acog for the other. One is a 1 in 7 twst and one is a 1 in 9 twist. I am torn between which scope for which rifle. Now the DOA has drop compensation for 55 gr. And the Acog is Drop Comp. for 62 Gr. 855. I have both ammos. Should I just match to the ammo as I have or should I mix and match? I have gotten mixed advice on the issue.

The only other thing is the Bushnell would be good on the 1 in 7 if I decide to use 77 grain HPBT since it is a 3x9 40mm

Unless you are shooting out to 400-600 yards, the BDC isn't really going to be that big of a deal. I would just use the 1:9" for the lighter bullets and the 1:7" for the heavier bullets and put the ACOG on the 1:7".

That is how they are currently set up. I'm open for more input on this. Thanks. I would like the option to shoot the heavier grain ammo at longer distances. Since the BDC doesn't really play a large role 0-300 wouldn't it be better to have the 3x9 on the 1 in 7?
