I just read about this for the first time.

If they offer a semi-auto version in the future, I would be very interested in this:

It is nice, but I don't know if it is any better than what is already available.

I agree, not sure how carrying an entire upper is better than a extra barrel.

For someone like me who already owns .308 PMAG's and AR-15 uppers, it's the perfect union.

I do think this is the best answer to the SCAR L/H parts commonality, even more so if Colt or the aftermarket can start figuring out how to mix in other calibers (300BLK, 6.5 Creedmoor/260Rem; 6.5 Grendel, 6.8SPC as mentioned).

What kind of .308 uppers can it take? I'm guessing it is the DPMS/KAC style. If they sold lowers, it would be worth it so we could just swap out the AR15 and .308 uppers.

I'm assuming the lower fits LR-308/SR-25 uppers since it accepts PMAG's.

I really hope they offer this lower to civilians in semi-auto, even if this rifle does not get adopted by the military I still like the idea and the ambi controls are just an added bonus.
