I was in my local shop last night for some work on my hunting guns and parts for my LMT. I happened to notice a P30 from HK and took a quick look at it. This is the first production pistol that has truly melted into my hand. Seeing as I'm a 6'3" male with big mitts this came as a complete surprise.

Does anyone have experience with this new design? I found it much more comfortable than the USP and a step above the M&P 40 which had been a consideration until I picked up the HK.

I'll take all the information I can get! Thanks

The HK P30 40 S&W came out last year at the SHOT. I had a chance to play with one. I like to think of it as a product improved USP 40-not boxy. The P30 has similar grip and handling to the HK45-which I carry for work now. I came close in buying the P30 then they came out with the P30L, tough choices. I like the P30, a bit higher in cost compared with the Glock or S&W. Gear/holster/pouch selection for the HK line is at times a pain, it took awhile for me to get a Safariland holster.
